Somewhere We Belong - Ch. 1 Chapter 1The sun was high. Birds were chirping and a gentle breeze swept across the Maroon Bells. All of a sudden, three wolf pups came charging out of the bushes. One was in the lead, named Sahasrara, was being chased by her brother, Ajna, and sister, Vishudda. Sahasrara (Saha, for short) was giggling madly. Her two siblings looked playfully angry. They immediately bumped into a large gray and white wolf named Bane. "What do you think you are doing out here alone? Go back to the pack! Now!"The three pups exchanged nervous glances and slunk back to camp. The aspens above showed prominent signs of fall. They were a golden yellow. It was almost magical. The leaves were occasionally falling and somewhere, a few miles away, Maroon Peak towered tall and proud above. As soon as they reached the pack, Saha, Vi and Ajna's sibling tumbled into them. " Hiii! Whatcha doin'?" Asked Anahata excitedly. "We-" Saha almost finished, but pouty Muladhara interrupted, "How come
Somewhere We Belong - PrologueThe night was dark. Wind rustled the trees. Something oozed out of the bushes. A figure appeared, melting anything in its path. It had a bubbly growl and green, glowing eyes. The thing was engulfed in the black liquid. A sizzling was coming off of it. Quickly, the liquid disappeared as a wolf padded by. He tripped, and suddenly the figure was upon him. "Wh- who are you?" The wolf stuttered."I'm the Shadow of the Moon," Shadow of the Moon growled."You're a spirit?""Yes... but not one that gives mercy," and the bubbling black liquid was instantly covering the wolf, burning it to bone. "Perfect. But that has not satisfied me enough... I'm going to find something else to kill!" Then the Shadow of the Moon spirit was gone, fading into the shadows.
